According to this Pew Forum survey, Texas is not home to the most religious USAmericans. We're not even in the Top 10. Texas ranked #11 in survey that measured belief in a god, church attendance, and prayer.
So here's one more bit of proof that Texas is not as book-burning, imaginary friend-having, reactionary political, testosterone-riddled, slope-headed, knuckle-dragging troglodyte primitive as I sometimes fear.
Sarcasm and irony are difficult to get across online, especially if there's a language barrier.
So here's the truth, without irony: The USA, in many ways, is an ignorant, primitive, backward place; and Texas is one of the more ignorant and backward parts of it. I'm not happy about it. I'm angry and frustrated and ashamed.
I love Texas very much, actually. It's all these damned Texans I can't stand.

Dearest Mike, are you happy for this? I can't understand it...
